WHOLE-SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
Activities designed for Years 1–6, with up to approximately 60 pupils per session.
CURIOSITY FIRST
Pupils ask questions, test predictions and discover the science behind surprising phenomena.
REAL-WORLD ENGINEERING
Practical challenges connect classroom science to real engineering and everyday life.

British Science Week Curiosity Grant
Funding available to eligible schools for activities engaging pupils with research and innovation.
The British Science Association's Curiosity Grant offers eligible schools the opportunity to apply for £600 towards British Science Week activities. Nova can help you explore how our curriculum-linked STEM experiences could support your school's plans.
Application deadline: 4 November 2026, 5pm
Funding is subject to eligibility, application assessment and award decisions. A Nova booking does not guarantee grant funding.

The Curiosity Grant is aimed at eligible state-funded, non-selective schools and education settings that meet at least one of the following criteria:
30%+
ETHNIC MINORITY PUPILS
At least 30% of pupils are from ethnic minority backgrounds.
30%+
ECONOMIC DISADVANTAGE
At least 30% of pupils meet the relevant deprivation measure, such as free school meals or pupil premium.
RURAL
LOCATION
The school is situated in an eligible rural area.
Meeting these criteria does not guarantee funding. Please refer to the British Science Association's official guidance for full eligibility requirements.
